It can automatically detect and identify whether connected devices such as IP camera comply with standard IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at,and supply power for them. 10/100/1000Mbps unmanaged PoE      switch makes the deployment of wireless AP, IP camera and IP-based network equipment become easier.

PoE: 

This technology describes a system to transmit electrical power, along with data, to remote       devices (IP phone, Wireless AP, IP cameras, etc.) over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network.
